LTC William M. Finnigan, 1BN, 31BDE, retired from the United States Volunteers after more than four years of dedicated service. LTC Finnigan was recognized for his dedication to the mission of the USV at a special retirement ceremony in San Jose, California on Saturday, October 27, 2007 by BG Blocker and COL. McArdle, Brigade Commander. While LTC Finnigan will be sorely missed, his loyalty and unwavering sense of duty will continue to serve as an example for us all. The United States Volunteers sends LTC Finnigan its best wishes for all the years to come.
