Joseph
Massaro
Colonel
11th New
York Regiment
United
States Volunteers – America
Dear Colonel Massaro:
The 11th New York Regiment of the United States Volunteers has
distinguished itself repeatedly over the last few years as one of the“star”
performers of the USV. In every organization there can be identified
those units who bring special credit upon themselves, their community and the
larger organization within which they serve. Such is the case for you, Colonel
Schroder and the 11th USV (NY) Regiment.
Reports
back from those you have served especially from the Final Military Honors
mission have been consistently outstanding and praise worthy. This is obviously
a result of the dedication to training and mission orientation that the 11th
New York Regiment has engendered in all of its Troopers. You and Colonel
Schroder are examples to be emulated for the rest of the United States
Volunteers and I, and the entire Command Staff, are proud of you.
On behalf
of the Board of Directors, the General Staff and all whom you so selflessly
serve: Thank You.
You are a credit to yourselves, your country and the
United States Volunteers -America. God
bless your service and God bless you in 200
